One of my favorite quotes is by Hiro Boga: ‘The world offers itself to us in every moment, quietly, patiently, soft in its tenderness, savage in its extravagant beauty.’

My life and Art embrace this feeling of soft tenderness and overwhelming beauty, agonizing loss and exquisite aging.

I don’t exactly ‘see’ something and then create an image … it is more that something, an ‘item of beauty’, calls to me. I humbly respond, doing my best to co-create Artwork that expresses the emotional, soulful quality of the caller.

I work with inks, paint, plants, spices, herbs, essential oils and very often a combination of all, touching each piece with intention and love.
